Automated Box Manipulation System

The objective of this project was to create an automated box manipulation system that that automatically turns every other box 180° arriving on the conveyor belt. The second phase is focused on using the 3D model from the first phase, and further simulating the integration of PLC by utilizing Rapid Control Prototyping tools.

The design incorporated the use of two motors which rotate as the box approaches. Two conveyor belts and roller in between allow the for the forward directional movement of the boxes. The PLC programming is completed using WinSPS and then tested on the Factory IO PLC simulator.
