Autonomous Walking Rickshaw

The overall objective of this project is to design and construct an autonomous rickshaw which moves via a pulling mechanism and can be constructed using the MECCANO 50 kit. The secondary objective is to make sure that besides the kit a budget of maximum $50 is considered. I designed the entire concept and put it together while also considering gear ratios, budget, mechanical constraints, and electrical constraints.
Once the switch gets hit the 9V battery source supplies the power to the motor. The motor then turns a small gear with 20 teeth which turns a bigger gear with 56 teeth. The bigger gear is on the same axle as a second smaller gear with 20 teeth which as a result turns too. Finally, the second smaller gear with 20 teeth turns a second bigger gear with 56 teeth. As the second bigger gear with 56 teeth turns the feet system, also attached to the axle, turns too. This allows the rickshaw to move forward.
