Indoor Environmental Management System




This is a remote controlled platform that will record Indoor parameters such as temperature, humidity, and air quality. Thus permitting the ability to remotely manage the environment of indoor areas requiring precise and frequent monitoring, such as hospital clean rooms and industrial facilities. In order to achieve the intended goals aforementioned, a mobile and compact platform will be used. The unit will feature the necessary sensors to record critical data, as well as incorporate a chassis and drivetrain design allowing for the active mobility required to navigate through various environments.
This is my final engineering project (Capstone Project) completed under Professor Yuelei Yang. This system uses complex engineering principles such as control systems, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and software engineering. For this project specifically I was responsible for the complete electrical, software, and partial mechanical design. I completed the electrical design by making the necessary calculations, the entire software was programmed by me, the app was created by me, all the physical wiring was also done by, and finally I put together the first three levels of the robot.
