One-Seater Vehicle

This is one of the first personal projects I worked on during engineering; I created a plan to make my own vehicle after first year and this is my first official project. In order to complete this I conducted cost analysis, materials analysis, errors analysis, 3D modeling, and stress analysis for all selected materials and parts done using NX Siemens.
I used raw materials and several power tools to design the chassis, steering, brakes, wheel assembly, and engine mounts. For all of these parts I used the CAD model to make sure the dimensions and tolerances matched in order to ensure quality of the stress tests. I also bought the brake assembly, axle with a differential, wheels with rims, and assembled it myself. Finally, I hired a machine shop to make key slot on the differential. Once this was done the steering was created using raw material and only costed $56.
